Dislocated knee cap

Hi guys.
I dislocated my knee cap a year ago, several times.
Am waiting to see the specialists for a keyhole surgery to seee what they can do to help secure it.

Anyways i just wanted to know if this has happend to anyone else and if they leg aches. The last few days mine has been aching like mad

I’ve done mine 7 times, it’s an absolute bastard injury. I have a partially torn meniscus now but they don’t want to operate yet as the prognosis isn’t great. If it deteriorates they may change though.

Mine hurts frequently, my only advice is to keep repeating your physio exercise, strong quads help stability.

I’ll likely need a replacement knee eventually, but mine is an inherited issue (thanks Dad!), which is why it recurs in me, it’s a poorly formed kneecap which too shallow grooves apparently.
