Hello

In the past two days I have been experiencing extreme exhaustion (and I’m already a tired person). But also nausea / indigestion and a change in bowel habits.

I’ve had three negative lateral flow tests. I have 5 x 13 hour shifts in the next 6 days which is horrific timing.

I’ve not changed anything or done anything particularly tiring. I slept for ages last night fell asleep at 6pm. Had a 4 hour nap this afternoon.

has anyone had anything similar ? The likelihood is I’ll have to phone in sick at some point but hoping I can just scrape through

thanks

I'd definitely say Covid but for all your tests...

That said I think there are quite a few other nasty bugs about at the moment. It sounds like you need to take at least one or two days off, if only not to infect other people (and obviously to rest up yourself).

@CorsicaDreaming thanks . I also have thrush so just have a random set of symptoms. Pre covid pandemic I had a great immune system, post pandemic this is the fourth bug I seem to have picked up. I did already have covid two months ago (after swerving for two years)

That's so similar to me! Really careful and avoided it for two years. Let guard down for a pub meal early April and bang! We all got it one after the other just before Easter.

Such a diverse range of symptoms

And exhaustion plus insomniac at same time.

Ugghh!

Do wonder if yours might be covid hanging around and coming back? This omicron one seems so weird and plenty of posters on here have been complaining of relapses after apparently fully recovering.

If so you would be negative on tests as not reinfected, just suffering ongoing issues.

Who knows? It feels like all bets are off at the moment with everything imo Confused

Could you be pregnant?

Cuck00soup · 21/04/2022 22:23

Are you sure that the indigestion is definitely indigestion and that it isn't discomfort in your chest with another cause?

Ring 111 if you are concerned - (or 999 if you have chest pain).

Thanks everyone.

turns out it was both my thyroid being out yet again + pre diabetes. A wake up call
