Shingles on face !

I have Shingles around my eye and all over my head . I started Antivirals on day 3 spoke to GP on phone as no face to face appointments but still feel tired easily and in pain. As it’s not contagious I have go to work How long will I feel like this as just recovered from a Stapedectomy and was hoping to feel better !

How long have you been on the antivirals? I was given the tablets but also an antiviral cream for my face lesions which helped. I worked through it and I regret that so much. It prolonged my recovery and I wished I’d taken time off and rested. I was feeling so unwell. Are you able to go off sick?
