Can cellulitis come back while you're still on antibiotics?

Hi, I had an infected cyst recently that caused(?) Cellulitis in my face. GP missed it so I ended up in hospital on IV antibiotics. I was sent home last week with oral antibiotics to complete the course. Feeling much better today and yesterday. All good.

Toddler pointed at my face an hour ago and asked "what dat?" I have a hot, red patch on my cheek - looks a bit like it could be a spot in the middle of it, but isn't. About the size of my cheek. How do I know if I need to go back. Dr Google is freaking the living daylights out of me.

DH is at work children are in bed. This is utterly rubbish timing.

You need to ring 111 at the very least. I’m not a health care professional so no expertise but I’ve had cellulitis spread after starting to take antibiotics. In the end I went to A&E and they had to give me a whopping dose of antibiotics which sorted it.
