Nausea feels better after eating

I've had this for about a week now. It feels odd to me as normally when I feel sick I don't want to eat. This time though I want to eat and after eating I feel better for a while . No other symptoms.
Any ideas what this could be?

Could you be pregnant? That's the only time eating has cured nausea for me

MonkeyBrainsInPickle · 19/04/2022 20:35

I was like this when pregnant.

Pregnant or stomach ulcer?

If it's an ulcer, then eating can neutralise the acid and give you a bit of relief for a short period. I constantly nibbled plain biscuits when I had one.

Morning sickness for sure.

Definitely not pregnant. I'm in my 50s and sterilised!

It's acid reflux. Try some antacids & ear small & often. Hiatus hernia v common at 'our age' and can be root cause of this. Talking from experience Confused

Have you been taking any multi vitamins? Anything with zinc in makes me feel sick until I eat.

onlyconnect · 19/04/2022 21:42

Somuddled no zinc but thanks for the idea

I have soMe Omeprozole which I've been taking but it doesn't help much. I'll try taking it regularly for a while.

I second the zinc supplement causing nausea. I've learned only to take it with or after a meal.

Also, green tea causes nausea if taken on an empty stomach.
