does it work straight away from the first dose ?

I am desperate for a night's sleep, not had more than two hours per night for the last three nights.

I bought Nytol but I'm nervous to use it.
I'm worried I will end up even more tired but still unable to sleep.

Been waiting 5 hours for 111 to call back so I'm losing hope for any help

It does work from the off, but in my experience becomes less effective if used regularly. I always have some in as a standby.

Yep. Use the 'one a night' type not the herbal rubbish or the one that's needs two tablets. You won't regret it 👍🏽

Yes it does work, the one in the blue box not the herbal type.

I used it when I suffered with awful anxiety and couldn’t sleep, diazepam didn’t work but this did. It is only for short term use though and does become less effective after a while.

Agree with pps nytol are the only tablets that work for me, well other than sleeping tablets.
I haven't felt groggy the next day either. I take one an hour before bed it's says 20 minutes but I found I was laying awake for up to an hour when I did this.
Not being able to sleep is torture, I hope you get a good night's sleep soon @Nowayhozay

I take the green ones and an antihistamine if I can't sleep.

One green one if it's a one a night one (they are white) or two of the brown ones.

I use the herbal one a night tablet and they work well for me.
