Slight scabbing freckle/mole

Hi all,

I shall attach a picture of said freckle/mole for advice if possible.

Am wondering if requires worrying, I only noticed this today after I touched area and a spot felt dry. I’ve had this freckle/mole for a lot of years now, it’s not really gotten any larger but I struggle to notice it much since it is placed on the back of my thigh. I really would like to avoid going to the gp over this if it’s a common problem that just happens at times. Has anybody every experienced this? Is it normal, or is it something I should be worrying about. I understand it says any chances should be looked it, but it doesn’t look very worrying in appearance to me. I would much rather some advice first.

Many thanks and thank you for getting through my rambling.

The best thing to do is send that photo to the GP - it's always safer to get it checked.
I have loads of moles that do this (I think they are called Seborrheic Keratoses). They have been checked out by Dermatology and they are nothing to worry about. Yours may be this or something similar so don't panic yet!
Just email the photo off to be on the safe side.

You need to see the gp or send them a pic.

Get it checked.

It definitely doesn't need worrying about but you should definitely follow the advice and get any changing moles checked by gp!
