Anyone know how I go about finding a reputable place to go for this? I'm in Gloucestershire so can't do the ones often mentioned in London.

Visioncare clinic in Bristol - Mr Darcy. He’s amazing and in addition to his private work is also head of corneal
and refractive surgery at the Bristol eye hospital.

Def no recommendations for laser surgery as it’s irreversible.
I would however recommend you look into lens replacement.

Is that the permanent contract lens type thing?

No, Reluctantadult , not contact lenses, it uses the same procedures as for cataract surgery so your existing lenses are replaced within your eye.

The recommendation in Bristol might be good to follow up as someone in that position will undoubtedly do lens replacement as well as laser surgery.

It’s worth exploring the other option as many people don’t realise there IS another option to lasering.

Oops fail there, Reluctantadult*

Mr Darcy does do lens replacement. A friend of mine recently had this operation with him and is delighted with the results. Personally I wouldn’t have lasik but would go for lens replacement.
