Back pain/breast reduction

Having a moan more than anything but has anyone had chronic upper back pain relieved by breast reduction?

My boobs have always been large but have got bigger with each DC and the pain has increased too. GP just says keep taking painkillers despite me saying I have very low mood because of the constant pain and I'm fed up of being fobbed off.

Have seen a consultant and had scans, there's nothing sinister going on. Physio doesn't help.

Is breast reduction the answer? I could pay to do it privately if I had to.

My daughter had a breast reduction when she was 21, I paid for her to have it done privately,I dont think NHS do it. We had a surgeon recommended to us and he was brilliant. She was in quite a bit of pain post op but the beauty of private surgery is pain relief is never far away as opposed to NHS. Surgery itself was excellent, the scars are now just feint lines but a reduction is a bigger op than breast enlargement. Her nipples had to be moved and repositioned which did impact on her ability to breast feed. Psychologically it was a no brainer. Her confidence and comfort from going from 34H to 34C was immense.
