Worried about this spot

Hi health anxiety is kicking my butt again. Does this spot look ok to you ? I can't get a doc app today and I can't stop worrying about it, looking for some reassurance that it looks ok. Thank you

Why are you worried? I really don't think it warrants a doctor appointment. Try putting a dot of sudocrem on it. Some of us have spots on a daily basis and they come and go.

Is it permanent?. I've got something similar on my leg that's been there for years. I can't remember what the GP called it but its nothing to worry about. I would always get the opinion of your GP though.

It says in the post I have health anxiety , this is a new spot that I am worried about skin cancer Etc

No it's new. Started off with a puss like head so I removed that and now it looks like this. Been there a few weeks. I have health anxiety and worry about new skin cancer Etc. Believe me I wish I wasn't like this it's horrendous

If it was a whitehead then this is just the scarring from that spot due to over granulation. You DO NOT need a doctors appointment. You do need help for health anxiety

I know it's a crappy MH condition to have, but if you slow down and think step by step it might help a wee bit. In all the nicest ways, are you looking to get help with the anxiety as well? Perhaps a routine appointment discuss this and the anxiety at the same time?

Yes I am getting help for my anxiety I went to the doctors last week regarding my insane health anxiety - I am on other medication that I need to reduce the dose once I've got a happy level my doc is then willing to give me some meds for my anxiety
