tubal adhesions?

doc thinks i may have adhesions on fallopian tube... what is that and how is it treated?

Why does the doc think this specifically?.

Has a tubal x-ray (HSG) been done to assess whether your tubes are patent (open)?.

Adhesions are sticky strands that tether organs together. Sometimes these form after any abdominal surgery (e.g appendix removal, c section etc). Drug treatment on its own will not touch adhesions once they are formed; surgical removal is often done in this regard.

You will need to talk to your gynae consultant at some length re this matter.

its my osteopath who suspects this actually, shes been treating me since my c section a year ago.am going to gp asap to ask for a scan... its very long story but have had preg symptoms for 6 weeks, am not preg but keep getting pain on one side, and have done since birth... last pregnancy was twin, resulted in tubal abortion of one, laproscopic surgery etc.. have had 2 sections too... something is def not quite right. am hoping for a referral
