I had a chronic urine infection about two years ago. Alot of bladder pain and feeling I needed to pass urine all the time. During that period I never test positive on a culture but distinct was showing blood and leukocytes.
I currently have all the same symptoms but dipstick is negative. Experience tells me the gp will not prescribe antibiotics if the dipstick is negative but I am concerned as last time it took 6 months to get on top of symptoms. Anyone had similar?
