Nail fungi

I have it really bad, tried all sorts of remedies, nothing works. Now doctor has prescribed Terbasil. Has anyone had this?, just worried because of possible damage to the liver? . He said it'd be ok but not to take anything else with it. Tia.

My dh used terbinafine to get rid of his fungal toenails. Had to take it for a few months and had a couple of blood tests to check it wasnt affecting his liver. He had no issues

Is terbinafine the same as Terbasil? Thanks for replying.

Googling suggests Terbasil tablets contain terbinafine. It will be a brand name

Yes it did but it took about 6 months or so
