Low Folate and anaemia question

Hi all,
Firstly, 6oure not all qualified health professionals (although some are) but wondered if anyone could answer a question for me.

I've been unwell a while (months). Low energy, headaches, breathless, light headed (can't reach up without getting light headed and having to sit down), more pins and needles.

Had a load of bloods done and my results show low folate. I missed the call from the doctor, so I couldn't ask questions (spoke with receptionist).

When does low folate become 'low folate anaemia?'
Is there a certain folate level that indicates it? Or is it a whole separate blood test for the anaemia side? Presumably I was also tested for anaemia and am not anaemic, although I'm definitely symptomatic.

Thank you for anyone who can help.
