Piles in children

Can children have piles? My DS 5 now is having three to four swellings on anus after every bowel movement, they disappear after some time. No pain. This is happening from past two months. Anyone in similar situation?

I know this is an old thread but just wondered if you ever found what these were as my son is also experiencing the same issue. Thanks!

Hello there, no i did not find any solution to this, he still have them after every bowel movement and disappears after few minutes. It is not bothering him though, so we just thought we should wait and watch. How old is your son? Ypu have the same issue too?
