if child >2yo recent study showed a spoonful of runny honey was better than cough medicine for tickly night coughs

No, it wasn't Benylin.

It may have been homeopathic or something of that ilk.

Unfortunately DD1 hates honey but I give it to the others and I agree, it seems just as effective.
