Just looked it up on theBBC and they say the same.

Its pretty difficult to avoid once you're in close proximity to people how have it so as I've got 3 people close by ATM the clock is ticking for me.....Grrreat!

Most D&V bugs are norovirus. It is the most common cause of all gastro upsets in the UK. So it is a normal D&V bug. The press hype makes it sound like something new but it really isn't.

Sorry that your boys have it. Good luck avoiding it .

Right, ds1 has been absolutley fine all day, back to his usual self and main irritator to his smaller bros.

Do I send him back to school tomorrow?

Ds2 has been tired and weak all day so I'll keep him at hime.

Ds4 drank a bottle of watered down milk and ate some sweet potato for dinner which has stayed down even though he's been sick a few times now.

ds3 has escaped it so far but being with his brothers all day prob means he's going to get it...do I send him to nursey tomooorw?

Wait 48 hours after last vomiting or diarrhoea to stop him spreading it If I were you I'd keep ds3 at home too.

Hope you don't get it!

tbh, if you want to stop it spreading to other families you all need to be kept away from others until you have all been clear of symptoms for 48 hours regardless of whether you have had it or not. hope that makes sense.

If you find you cant do that then do try to stay away from vunerable people such as the young, elderly and sick at the least.
