Does this sound like appendicitis?

I have had horrific pelvic/groin pain and also some uncomfortable stomach discomfort since a week and a half ago, was treated for a UTI with a negative dip test for precaution however the pain is still there so I went back to the doctors today who did an examination and also another urine dip test.
Urine dip test came positive for infection this time! (Strange especially after I have took anti biotics)
And when she touched my lower pelvis/groin it hurt so bad I was tearful! Everywhere else she touched I was ok, uncomfortable but did not cause severe pain, she has put me on a two week course of anti biotics for potential PID however she scared me for a few mins because she said potentially I could have appendicitis but my stomach was soft and she said where it severely hurt wasn't the usual place someone with appendicitis would feel pain as it was a bit too low down, she tried to call the surgery on call team but couldn't get through so then called gynocologist team because she also feared I have a potential cyst. Gyno team said probs not appendicitis as I wasn't jumping of the bed in pain but they will refer for a scan for potential cysts.
My main concern now is that I have appendicitis and it's being left untreated...she did scare me a bit when she said that but then didn't say anything else after just said if the pain gets worse to go A&E, the only way I can describe the pain is like onset labour, very very strong period pain and it is not relieved by OTC meds. :(

Sorry to hear you're in pain.

She doesn't sound like she has a clue & personally I'd see another Dr.

However, that's nothing like how my appendix was! I hadn't had any previous pain, then one evening I had pain just below my rib cage, in the centre, really nasty, I couldn't get any relief from it & didn't really sleep. Rang 111 who were as good as useless. During the next morning it moved around, settling lower than I thought it would if it was my appendix (lower tummy, RHS) I had tried to get my/a GP to come & see me it was that bad (and the surgery is only a 5 minute walk) but they wouldn't come out & I couldn't go there (I live alone)couldn't get downstairs, let alone walk to the surgery! It was the afternoon by this stage, so my friend left work & came & took me to the GP, collected her kids from school then came back for me, I saw a locum, who sent me straight to A&E (no stopping for anything! ). Usual wait etc but it was out by 11pm, the surgeon said it was septic and very very close to bursting.

Everyone was very surprised I hadn't had any previous rumbling from it!

Can you go to a walk in or A&E ??

Good luck!!

Doesn't sound like classic appendicitis symptoms. I had a very classical presentation and the worst thing was jarring (bumps rather than swaying in the car) and the letting go part of them prodding but the labour waves does sound familiar. Although they also considered ovarian stuff as well and were very interested in where I was in my cycle

I was also bloated with a hard stomach.

I've seen three different health professionals since this started (one however over the phone) I don't want to go a&e if I don't have to but I am concerned with the pains, so unlike me I never get pelvic pain and this all started after my ovulation - I can however walk about as normal and do my everyday activities! It just hurts, a lot :(

@randomsabreuse

I was also bloated with a hard stomach.
This gives me some reassurance! The going in prodding hurt but going out didn't, my stomach was also very soft
