Hi,
I seen my GP today, as last night woke 3/4 times to pee but when I went I had retention which isn’t too new for me as I have IC/chronic uti so occasionally this can happen! Last night on pushing I then went back to bed and started getting sharp pains in the stomach. Eventually slept then this morning woke up and ever since whenever I pee I’m getting pain on the right side (sharp) The GP felt my stomach today and there was no pain on pressing, My urine colour is normal but its just this right side pain which is coming and going!
My temperature was checked too and all fine.
Should it pass? What would be signs of kidney infection- would I know? As could things worsen quickly or can kidney infection be fine for weeks then boom!
