sciatica worse

I had mild sciatica 7 weeks ago. No back pain. Had MRI and I have buldging discs. I was doing good and had good physio. Now since 5 days ago my back has started to play up and my sciatica is a bit worse. I do not understand it because the physio was pleased with my progress. I usually wear flat shoes but felt so good with the progress I was making, I wore a pair of slight heels which I have been told are ok to wear. I am wondering if that was the cause. My physio is convinced I can improve further but since my last appointment I have felt worse and my next appointment is in two weeks time and I am wondering if i should bring the appointment forward

I had several bouts of Sciatica over 4 years and i got the improvement and then went backwards again. It could be the shoes as even sitting in a different chair could make mine worse.
Are you just doing Physio? Walking really helped mine, wished i had kept track of how many miles i covered!

Sciatica is awful, i haven't had a problem since October but have been left with back stiffness so still walking!

yes I am just doing physio . What else could I do? If there was anything else then the physiotherapist woul recommend something else. The shoes are not very high and two medics have said they are ok to wear. My pain is not that bad but constant. I have had constant pain since 7 days ago when I last had my physio appointment with added lower back pain which i never had before. I am not taking more painkillers. I will not know the cause until I see the physiotherapist again in two weeks time. I was going to bring the appointment forward but I think I can cope until my next appointment
