Throat biopsy

I noticed a lump in my throat a couple of months ago, went to the gp and asked to be referred (they were happy to dismiss it after looking), had my appointment with specialist consultant and they ordered an mri and throat biopsy. Both booked in within the week after seeing the specialist...worries me how soon!!!

Anyway I am so nervous to have this throat biopsy (will be under GA) and then for the results. I'm a 28yo female. Has anyone had any similar experiences? Or any positive stories 🙏🏼

It’s so frightening when they take action so quickly. It’s usually quite standard though. Stay away from doctor google. It’s always cancer.
I convinced myself I had throat cancer when I had a persistent sore throat and couldn’t swallow. I was rushed for a camera down my throat the next day. I spent the whole night crying and planning my funeral. It was nothing. Anxiety and stress.
