Started being sick on Wednesday and although I’ve stopped vomiting my stomach is still churning and nauseous. If I try to eat anything very plain I just feel worse. Meant to be at work on Monday and really worried that I won’t be up to it. The only thing that helps is staying very still and sipping water. Sorry just wanted to moan.

Are you hydrated? Get some dioralyte to help with that. It will take a few days to recover but this sounds like you need a bit of help/a push. Beige food may help. Something like rich tea.

Yes I’m drinking lots and having the rehydration sachets which are amazing. I’ll try rich tea. Can’t believe how bad I feel.

We've just had it through the house. I caught it from my daughter on Monday and spent the whole day in bed or in the bathroom feeling awful. I couldn't eat again until Thursday as food immediately made me feel nauseous and gave me cramps. Friday was my first day of feeling 'normal' again.

Yes that’s how it feels, as soon as I try to eat I feel even worse again. Think I will have to cancel work on Monday, I’m self employed and lose the money but it can’t be helped

When we last had it some Pepto-Bismol helped settle our stomachs, perhaps that’s worth a try?

I will add that it helped with the nausea and soothed my insides.
