This morning, after I got up I had a sudden, acute, excruciatingly painfull bout of diarrhea that lasted about half on hour. After this I got a few more urgent needs to go, but all that came out was red blood in mucus. This settled around lunch and I'm now left with a stomach ache. Is this something I should monitor or because there was blood , should I follow it up with the GP? This has never happened before so I wonder if anyone has had this before? Any advice appreciated.
