Deep tickle in ear driving me nuts!

I’ve had a tickle deep in one ear for about 2 months, it’s a definite tickle and not an itch. I’ve never had issues with my ears or indeed done anything to them. I purchased a water syringe and gave it a good flush out but literally nothing came out! Any ideas?
Google just talks about itchy ears…

I get recurrent very mild fungal ear infections and tickling/ itching is more common with them than bacterial ear infections. I did used to live in the tropics though - not sure how common they are in a UK climate

Has someone looked in your ear? Like a doctor?

A moth or spider may have taken up residence.
