Stomach issues HELP

For the last 1.5 years I've had intermittent bouts of terrible trapped wind. Creaking stomach noises, popping sounds, and generally grumbling stomach that's SO aloud. I've also had a nagging pain under the right rib that comes and goes (weeks / months without feeling anything).

The last bout was around 4 months ago when I went to the dr and they did an ultrasound and discovered a small gallbladder polyp. I've had another scan to see if it has grown, but apparently it's shrunk!

I've had 2 lots of bloods, a FIT stool test. All normal.

I'm going to go back to the GP but is there anyone who knows if these symptoms can be related to the gallbladder? Everything I've read are that polyps (especially small ones are symptomless). So maybe the other digestive issues are something else entirely?

Well, I would say pain around right ribs, and wind, could be connected to the gallbladder, not to mention a good many other symptoms, but your GP would be very cross with me for saying so. I think it might be true to say that all sorts of digestive system problems can give wind and that an upset in one part of the system affects other parts. Have you noticed if the upsets are linked to any particular food?

I've tried to keep a food diary but can't identify anything in particular.

It always seems to happen in the second half of my cycle, but not close enough to my period for it to be directly related.

Same symptoms here, I had a ultrasound which showed gallstones so possibly related to that or just trapped wind, maybe IBS. Do you take any OTC medication for your it? I take Deflatine and find they help, or you could try Charcoal capsules.

I have chronic gastritis and the symptoms sound a bit similar, pain and other issues. I also have nausea which is the worst.
I have had every test known to man it feels like, the only thing that came back positive was gastritis and general stomach inflammation and was also postive for H Pylori. The treatment for that is triple therapy - 2 antibiotic and omeprazole. Very unpleasant.
I am still suffering 5 months on.
