Hi can anyone tell me what's wrong with my toe? Ive had it about three years. I've tried fungal nail stuff three times and athletes foot powder. It's never cleared. It's only on that toe. Please help.

How long have you used the fungal stuff? You need to keep applying until the affect nail has grown out completely or it just keeps spreading.
I’ve spent several months applying dactarin daily to my toenail that looks exactly like that. It’s almost at the end now.

I’d previously been prescribed terbinafine from the GP but it can affect the liver so needs regular blood tests so they advised Dactarin this time.

I have to scrape it underneath the nail and apply to the top of the nail & skin then leave it uncovered as long as possible before putting a sock on. I tend to do it at night after a shower so leave it uncovered for an hour or so.

Fungal nail. I've had the same for 10 years. Every now and then it drops off and a new pink one grows for a few months, then that turns horrible too. In Sept 2019 I thought I'd persist with that paint on stuff plus Lamisil on the surrounding skin. I thought it would be ok by summer if I did that. Then we went into lockdown so I carried on all through that summer, all last winter and I'm still persisting now. Its still horrible, thick and yellow, but there's a glimmer of hope in that 3 of the 4 nails seem to be on the mend and the big worst one is showing pink on the bottom quarter.

Sorry for the ramble.

You need to see a GP , they will take or get you to take a sample for testing and then ask for Terbinafine tablets , which you need to take for several months .
