Fall from height and dent on forehead *pic included*

2wks ago I had a fall from height down a flight of concrete stairs (very steep and didnt hit any steps on the way down). I had some significant injuries and surgery. In A&E they did a CT scan on my head which I had no feedback on so have assumed its normal.
However lots of people have noticed my head is dented. It was very bruised and swollen initially and that's now gone. Do I assume if this was anything to worry about I would have been told?
It's very painful to touch.
