Odd tiny bump on wrist

I have a tiny very hard lump on the inside (underside) of my wrist and it's driving me mad. It's painless and can only describe it as a rice grain stuck under the skin. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?

I've name changed for this. Not sure why I'm embarrassed about it(!)

Might be a ganglion, if it is be prepared for it to grow.

Is it to the side? I had something like this on my bone on my wrist at the side towards the underside (thumb) it eventually just went away. I think it might have been a small ganglion cyst!

I thought it could be a ganglion too but it's nowhere near the wrist joint which is where I thought they "grow". It's about two inches up my forearm, and seems to be along one of the veins so not on a bony bit at all iyswim.

Could it still be a ganglion?

Sorry I should say, its on the underside, not the top of my forearm!

Doesn't sound like a ganglion, I had one of those surgically removed. If it's only the size of a grain of rice, why are you so bothered by it?

Just because it's appeared suddenly in the last few weeks and I've no idea what it is!

Have you been microchipped in your sleep? Could it be a tracking device?

@Nicoise yes that's exactly what it feels like! A pet microchip but not moveable

Following with interest, as it sounds exactly like something I have. More or less the same location too, by your description. Mine also appeared from nowhere. I thought it might be a wart so I treated it with Bazuka, but that just irritated it. It's recovered from that trauma and gone back to how it was when it first appeared. If you find out what it is, do let me know!

A tiny nodule on one of your tendons

I've self-diagnosed mine as a dermatofibroma. Have a look at some photos online and see if it fits the bill.

It could be a ganglion,mine is up from my wrist and comes and goes as it pleases. It's too close to my vein to have an op. Even though it's full of fluid it does feel hard. Ganglion look like Smith topped cones.
