Codeine and constipation

I have been prescribed codeine which I have to take two tablets four times a day......I know from experience this means I will get constipated. Does anyone have any tips on how to stop myself getting so bunged up?

fybogel but drink it quickly before it changes texture (goes gloopy)

that and stay very, very hydrated - always be sipping
