What is going on with me?

In the last 8 weeks I've had 3 lots of antibiotics!

Started with a uti, that was dealt with. Then around a month ago I developed a double ear infection (so painful!) Which was treated with both ear spray and oral antibiotics, resolved after a week or so.
Earlier this week I ended up in A and E with a lung infection and pulse rate of 150-160 bpm.
I have had issues with heart rate/palpatations and funny beats in the past, I am now back on beta blockers to help with this. I am also just finishing my third course of antibiotics for the lung infection.

Today my ear has started to swell up at the front and inside again and I can feel the pain coming back so have a feeling there's another ear infection brewing.

So my question is what is going on with my immune system at the moment? Is this just a spate of bad luck and how can I sort myself out??
I do have M.e if that's relevant and work full time hours, 12 hour shifts with 2 young children so constantly feel tired/rundown but I've never had a run of infections like this?? I'm currently supplementing my diet with complan drinks due to weightloss over past few weeks but what else can I do to boost myself? I'm only late 20's and currently feel about 4 times that!

Sorry for the rambling and thank you if you've made it to the end of this.

Have you had your thyroid , haemoglobin & iron stores and B12 levels checked? Definitely not diabetic?
Do you supplement Vit D?

Not recently, I had a full blood blood count done about 6 months. I've had plenty of investigations in the past which is how the M.e diagnosis came about. The only thing that comes back consistently high is my ESR count? But drs have never seemed concerned about that. Yes am taking vitamin D daily. Just not sure what's going on currently with this run of infections but it's certainly taking it out of me!

That sounds awful, poor you. I don't mean to scare you but have you been checked for leukaemia? Persistent infections, fatigue and weight loss are textbook signs. It's probably not this but best to get checked. Hope you start to feel better soon Thanks

Hi, No it's not something that had crossed my mind but certainly something I could get looked into? I was considering contacting the Gp and asking for another full round of bloods to see if there's anything underlying as this can't carry on. I'm in a relatively new job so obviously worried about the time off I'm having and also trying to keep up with my little ones and housework/admin, just life in general!

Hopefully I'm just having a run of bad luck but I will bear it in mind. Thanks for your reply.

@Imthecaffeinequeen Most likely you're just run down with everything going on, just good to get everything checked over for piece of mind. Hope you feel much better soon.
