Ds has about a dozen blistered spots in various places on his body. He doesn't seem too bothered but when asked says they are "a bit itchy". Bugger, bugger as I was really looking forward to a couple of days to myself to get stuff done when he went back to nursery this week!

Questions:
I am 36w preg but had the pox as a child, so I don't think it's a problem for me. Is that right?

How long do I need to keep him off nursery?

TIA

you'll be ok as you had it as a child, baby will be protected by your immunity.

At least 5 days , some may insist on longer if they haven't scabbed over. There may be mroe to come as they appear in batches ime.

Oh that's not so bad, I had 2 weeks in my head from somewhere.

Ah well, could be worse, could be after the baby is born which would be a different matter.

Thanks for your replies.
