Hi all, looking for some advice, I'm taking Norgeston and I'm getting awful migraines lasting 4 days, was on Noriday but felt same.. never know if to have estrogen or progesterone contraceptive when you suffer with migraines? Any advice would be grateful x 🙏

How long have you been on it? I'm on the mini pill and I had a migraine after first taking it (I think it was the trigger), it settled right down quite quickly.

If you are having migraines you shouldn’t take the combined pill - that’s the one with oestrogen- as it’s a risk factor for blood clots and strokes. They will recommend you go onto the mini pill which is progesterone only. (This is what happened to my
Dd).

I've suffered mingraine which was initiated by pills 20 years ago. Can't remember the name though. When I stopped the mingraines didn't go away to this day. Sad.

They are horrendous, don't get a slightest of headache the rest of month just 4 days a head of period 😥
