Please help! Huge rash getting worse

I had this rash appear Wednesday it was only a few spots I went to the pharmacy which prescribed permithrin for scabies, doctors the following Thursday which also said scabies, however after the treatment the rash is getting worse and bigger and I honestly have had enough now it itches so much and to me it doesn’t even look like scabies anymore however I have got random itchy spots which have spread everywhere else now but they are just singular aside from this on my rib area:( the photos uploaded are each days progression starting from Wednesday, I’ll upload Saturdays and todays in comments

I have had scabies. I caught it working in an old people's home from a resident and passed it on to one of my children ffs.

It was a long time ago but I remember having to go back to the doctor for the strongest thing he could prescribe as the topical stuff just did not cut it, plus I have psoriasis which made it more difficult to treat.

Do you know where you caught it from OP

It could be an allergic reaction, my daughter had a rash like this after a course of drugs for wisdom tooth infection. Have you finished a course of anti biotics/penicillin recently?

I have no idea where I caught it from:( I do have two young children however they seem all clear at the moment! Partner also all clear, I did treat all of us with the cream on Wednesday night. I do go to university, although not staying in halls, maybe could have caught it from there. Do you know the name of the strong stuff you had prescribed. I’ve treated myself twice with permithrin now and it seems to be getting worse every single day. I wake up atleast 5 times a night itching myself. Am also taking antihistamines aswell. And no Rina I have not taken any antibiotics recently :(
