Any endoscopy experts (endoscopists...?) about?

I had an endoscopy on Friday and the report I was given states that they were unable to enter/view D2 and J despite several attempts to manoeuvre the scope. They have advised an MRI and I'm waiting to hear from my consultant. I'm just a bit worried that there was something in the way...
Is anyone able to explain what they might mean by 'unable to enter'. I was sedated so it wasn't because I couldn't tolerate it.
Thank you!
