Always always cold!

To caveat, I know I shouldn't ask the internet to diagnose me, I'm just wondering if this is something worth bothering a doctor over or if anyone has experienced similar and found something to help.

Unless it's literally a heat wave, I'm cold. I'm currently sat in my warmest clothes and bed socks under a heated throw blanket and my hands and feet are still like ice and I have goosepimples all over my body. I can sit in a warm room and my extremities are colder than room temperature. My DH jokes that if I died, I'd warm up.

Everyone else in the house has a t shirt on and I'm wrapped in a shawl and several layers. I've always been like this to an extent but this winter seems worse than ever. I do have slightly low blood pressure and poor circulation but this seems ridiculous. The only time I'm a comfortable temperature is when I wake up in a warm bed. The rest of the day is completely miserable.

Is this just something I have to put up with or should I just move to somewhere hot?

That was the really major sign of, what turned out to be, an underactive thyroid for me, there were plenty of other signs though once I’d looked into it.

Thanks, sounds like it might be worth a blood test then. It's getting a bit ridiculous now. I went to the Camera Obscura in Edinburgh recently where they had a thermal imaging camera. My hands didn't even register, they were giving out absolutely no heat at all.

I am the same especially my feet I wear bed socks everyday all day and they are still cold. I didn't know if to go to the Dr's but maybe I should it's been like this years now and it's depressing.
