How long for food to pass through you?

I ate a huge lentil curry last Sunday and had a sore stomach all week. Very bloated etc.

Had diarrhoea this afternoon and feel like that was it just processing through me today.

Can that be the case though? I thought food was fully digested and processed within 24 hours?

Sounds like your digestive system is running slow to me. Usually takes me 1-2 days, but spicy food always goes through me much faster. Are you drinking enough water - upping your fluids may help.
