How long after pre op was your surgery?

Got a pre op appt next week but no date for surgery yet.

Can anyone share their experiences please?

I've always had pre-op appointments once i've got a date for surgery and it's usually within a week.

I was once told the operation date had to be within 2 weeks of the pre-op appointment or they'd be required to re-do the pre-op. That was probably 5 years ago though so not sure if that's now changed since covid.

I had my pre op in Dec and my surgery is later this month - delayed due to another health issue
