Hi guys, going slightly mad with worry and wondering if anyone has been through similar who may have advice? I had really bad back pain over xmas to the point I couldn't walk. I ended up in A&E boxing day and they said it was mechanical back pain. Its improved now and is just like sciatica on my right side. However, over last few weeks I have been getting a cramping pain around my right ovary. Can be at any time, not just ovulation. I just put it down to back pain spreading but walk- in advised it doesn't do that and advised me to get a GP referral for an ultrasound. I now gave all kinds going through my head after stupidly googling symptoms. I have had 4 c sections, most recent 6 years ago and tube litigation. Scar tissue hopefully? 🙈 why did I google it? Waiting for GP appointment now and worried sick!

Oh gosh, I totally understand where you’re coming from, as I get very anxious about stuff like this too.

Just try to remind yourself that it is unlikely to be something sinister, but that you cannot do anything now except wait for your appointment and then you will know more. Please try to stay away from Dr Google, I know it’s hard. I have often driven myself mad diagnosing myself based on internet articles. Remember that these articles are almost always going to list that very scariest of diseases based on almost any symptom.

Can you distract yourself with a good film or series to watch? Flowers

Thank you, trying to think positive thoughts. My younger sister has just come out the other side of hodgkins lymphoma so reassuring myself that my family can't possibly be that unlucky. Natural born worry wart!
