Hi My 6 month dd is teething. I've got some Ashton's powder which I've given the first lot of tonight - I just wondered how often I should give it to her, do I give it to her for as long as she's teething or only when it's bad and how do I put it in her mouth - it says tip it onto her tongue but this isn't easy, so can I rub it on with my finger or should I put it on her gums?

She has Anbesol in the day when mildly teething and has had Calpol a couple of times when it's been really bad. Can I give all three together?

Thanks very much.

I used to dip my finger in the powder and let ds suck it off, or rub it on his gums. There is little chance of 'gently tipping it onto the tongue' ime

I would give that as long as she is uncomfortable. If she seems fine with the teething then let her get on with it.

The teething rings you stick in the fridge/freezer can also be good for numbing the pain.

Not sure what anbesol is so can't answer that (is it like bongela?)

you can give them every hour when it's really bad. If it's difficult to get them into her try pouring it out onto a spoon first no need to rub into the gums. It's only chamomile extract so can't see any reason why you can't give it with the other stuff I have in the past (although with bonjela). I would give it to her for as long as it helps her. There's nothing bad in it as far as I am aware it's a totally natural homeopathic remedy.
