Tendonitis treatment? Fat fingers!

Assuming tendonitis. I might follow up with GP when I have time as I know could be an autoimmune type issue. Wondering whether there is any immediate treatment as quite painful at moment and limiting in morning. Google seems to suggest not.

Looks more like arthritis, especially if worse in the morning.
I have arthritis and have had tendonitis.
Short treatment for tendonitis is rest, ibuprofen, diclofenic gel and ice or heat (whichever works for you).

Thanks. Have been avoiding ibruprofen due to stomach problems but hadn't thought of the gel. Had considered GP this morning but figured little they'd do in the short term and it feels much less painful now.
