Help with Endoscopy Results?

Close relative had an endoscopy today and was told they could see blood in stomach, h. Pylori and a thickened oesophagus which they have taken a biopsy for.

We've to receive results within 2 weeks. Relative is getting antibiotics for the H pylori.

I know nobody knows until we get the results. But is it possible this could all be from something like an ulcer or the h pylori (if there are any doctors out there or anyone who has had this happen to them)? Sorry, my mind is racing with all of the worst case scenarios.

It definitely could be. Do you know where the oesophageal thickening is in terms of top, middle or bottom, closer to the stomach and if your relative has been having problems with indigestion or acid reflux?

@Nelliephant1 thanks so much for your reply. They've been having problems for months with indigestion, acid reflux and their stomach looks like they are pregnant. It's all bloated and has been for months.

They just told me that they said he had Barratts Oesophagus and took a biopsy to check the cells. I'm not sure where it was thickened though
