Hi, is this ECG normal ? I've been told the fact that it doesnt pick anything up on lead 1 is fine as can read the others? It's awaiting review. Done on a child whilst asleep.

This is only about half of a standard 12 lead ECG, is there another page?
How old is the child?
Why was an ECG needed?

Hi sorry yes its only pulled through the first page, its 4 pages on a 6 lead ecg called a Kardia 6L that we were given by the hospital. Child is 4 and will not keep still so this reading is while asleep.

It was picked up by a doctor checking something unrelated who said his heart beat doesn't seem regular and as he is already under cardiology they sent us this device.
*he is only under cardiology still because his echo is 9 months over due because of covid and he had endocarditis back in 2020 and they made an extra appt a year later to be sure.

If he's had endocarditis then it I needs interpreting in the context of what his ecg was like then/immediately after. Paediatric ECG interpretation is best done by experts, esp if they've had heart problems.

I only seen the ECG the report only one time. I don't know to read an ECG.
