DH and I had sex for the first time in months last week. I’ve felt sore ever since but I put it down to the fact that I was pretty dry at the time (sorry tmi)
Anyway yesterday I started feeling incredibly itchy down there and last night noticed a small pea sized lump on my labia. It doesn’t hurt unless I squeeze it.
Anyway I got a mirror down there to have a look at it’s red raw with a weird sticky discharge (no smell to it). Quickly google … thrush? Does this sound right? I’d rather not go to doctor if I can get away with it. Can I buy something over the counter?
The itching is much worse today, unbearable itching 😞

it sounds quite likely, you can buy canesten over the counter in the chemist, you might have to ask for it as it's often behind the counter. When i bought it last year they asked if i'd been diagnosed by my GP but my GP website clearly says to go to the chemist and not waste their time if you have thrush!
