I had a root canal done just over a year ago and visited the dentist and was told I need a crown over it.
Dentist took a mould for the crown and some x rays and said that the root canal has a small infection which hopefully will go away on its own once the crown is put on. If it doesn't go away then antibiotics would be needed and the worse case scenario is that the tooth will need to be removed.
Worried now that I am spending £200 on a crown and then the tooth might need to be removed
