POTS?

I'm really struggling with fatigue lately and in the last 18 months my BP has been high. I've recently started ramipril (prescribed it last year but did not take)

I am trying to sort my mood and fatigue out but have noticed a v high reading on my blood pressure yesterday, which I wondered if it was because I had only just sat down. I've been trying to take my BP from standing up and sitting down and getting various readings.

I have an appointment with the nurse tomorrow to check BP - should I ask them to confirm my pulse and blood pressure stood up and stood down? Am I being reasonable to question POTS?

I have been trying to resolve this exhaustion for a while but I have mental health issues which contribute and I am overweight. I've attached yesterday's pulse readings from my smart watch to show variation in pulse. I spent the whole day at home.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated I am so exhausted.

Have you had your thyroid tested?

PigeonLittle · 22/02/2022 15:54

Yes, normal last year and this year.

Did you get the actual results? My GP kept telling me mine were normal and they were far from it.

I'd recommend getting the actual results.

Yes I saw them, I got advice from a GP friend who advised that they were within normal range (one was a little towards the top end)
