I'm in my mid 40s, normal blood pressure, non smoker, BMI normal but I am also perimenopausal.
What might be good combined pills given these factors e.g. ideally something with decent oestrogen to combat peri?
My doctor prescribed Gedarel (desogestrel) but it has a higher risk of blood clots than those containing levonogestrel, esp as you get older, so I'm not keen.
