Im 49 havent had a period in over 2 1/2 years.
Wake up Wednesday with my period.

Is it worth going to my doctor.

Yes. Read this, it says any postmenopausal bleeding should be investigated. Good luck.

Yes, I think you’re considered menopausal if you haven’t had a period for a year so if you’ve not had one in 2.5yrs and suddenly bleed I would get checked over.
