Long time poster but NC for identifying purposes!

Hi all.

Currently waiting for GP to call for a telephone consultation to deem if necessary for me to attend the surgery Hmm

I haven't changed anything - shampoo/soap/shower gel/ make up/detergent/diet etc now dyed my hair but have developed some sort of rash.

The first one is on my face to the side of my eye but last night it also appeared on my arm and this morning one has come up on my neck.

They are all on the left side and are all sore and itchy.

Any suggestions to what might have caused it so I can offer the GP some ideas please?

TIA

Shingles?

AdviceOnRash · 16/02/2022 09:26

Sorry, just noticed typo in my original post.
It should say nor dyed my hair, not now dyed - I'm blaming my phone for auto correcting!

It is worth asking your local pharmacist for advice first.

I spoke with the pharmacist yesterday after the first one appeared and they recommended antihistamine- I've taken them (1 yesterday & 1 today) and they don't seem to have helped as yet Sad

@endofagain

Shingles?
Thank you - I'll mention this - especially with it only being on my left side

Are you experiencing any new or additional stresses as could be stress hives

Update!
I had a telephone consultation with the GP and had to send photographs. He has diagnosed shingles as @endofagain suggested. Thanks for all your advice Smile
