Ds2 (17 months) has lost about 2kg in the last month

He has had D&V bug followed by croup, then back to D&V before he even got his appetite back, poor thing.

I took him to the doctor about something unrelated and she said to keep an eye on his weight to make sure he gains again - and this was before the most recent D&V bug. I thought she was just being over cautious until I was looking through photos and really noticed how thin he is looking. Then I weighed him and he has lost probably about 2 kg. Luckily he was just off the centile chart before he lost weight.

I have put photos on my profile of him a month ago, and on Boxing day (again before the recent D&V bug) How awful does he look! Gone from a picture of health, to thin and grey

My DD had D + V around this age and I still look at the photo's 10 years on and think how awful she looks. Just offer him what he likes little and often don't stress unless he's floppy and lathargic if all else fails give cereal. If he has 3 breakfasts a day that's more tham enough

However I have given him breakfast anyway because he does seem hungry, and he has eaten some.
