Should I do anything more for possible tick bite?

This morning woke up feeling a bit achey and a strange bullseye type mark on my inner knee. I thought maybe I’d burnt myself at first as it’s warm to the touch and a bit tender.
Rang GP and they sent me to a minor injuries unit where a nurse prescribed antibiotics. I did have a tick about 4 months ago on my leg - but that was a long time ago!
Could it just be ringworm? Don’t want to take antibiotics for no reason plus am breastfeeding atm. Any advice?! Should I insist on seeing GP?

I'd take the antibiotics if I were you OP. You do know about Lyme's disease don't you?

Might you have been bitten by a tick more recently without realising?

Antibiotics are generally fine with breastfeeding. You can check on the breastfeeding network website if you're worried. The bulls eye from a tick bite normally comes up quite soon after a tick bite. Maybe you got a new tick bite?

Thanks everyone. Yes must have been another tick bite that I didn’t notice. About to start the antibiotics. Fingers crossed!
Should I see gp as well?
